Irrigation Update - It's Time!

We have WATER! Larry (the dog) isn't quite as impressed as Joe.

 

Five weeks into our 8-week project. Great Progress! Main line, sprinkler heads & valve boxes have been installed on all 18 holes. Main line has been connected to our pump house. The crew is currently working on grounding plates and connecting power throughout the system.

 

We realize this is a difficult time for everyone. Joe and I remain positive and hope you and your family stay safe and healthy.

Great progress over the last several weeks with the irrigation mainline throughout the course now fully installed. Next up, sprinkler head installation on tees, greens & fairways. We are on schedule & the course remains open with very little disruption.

 

That's about to change!!! In keeping with our commitment to improve both the facilities and the experience here at Holly Ridge, we are excited to announce that we will be installing a new state of the art irrigation system early this spring. It's time!

Equipment mobilization and supply delivery has taken place and the underground piping faze will begin very soon. Over the course of the next six to eight weeks we will move from hole to hole installing new irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, and valve boxes. We are anticipating very little disruption to play and plan to have the new system operational by May 1st.

We couldn't be more excited, as this is one project that needs to take place for us to continue to improve the golf course and your golfing experience.
